The work, THE DISCOVERY OF NORTH AMERICA, takes its substance from original documents, maps ( some of them never published ), and especially from navigators, historians and chroniclers of the XV and XVI centuries, the men who recorded the very first discoveries on the Atlantic coast of North America. Also included is an investigation of the Icelandic Sagas which reveal the incursions of the Norsemen around the year 1000 A.D. The study is complemented with other discoveries in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and an introductory geography of antiquity.

The research work and studies, accomplished with the precious help of libraries and archives all over the world, intend to present a new, chronological and comprehensive picture (born from documentations in Latin, Italian vulgate, Castilian, Catalan, Portuguese, French and Old English ), clearly showing who among the early explorers and navigators discovered what, when and where in that part of the Americas that extends from the southern tip of Florida northward along the eastern coast of today's United States of America and Canada.
